klei Design Agency is a freelance co-op that I started alongside two of my friends and classmates from the BYU Graphic Design program. The idea was originally Valerie's, and we got together to commiserate our current design jobs. We talked about our struggles as women and creatives, and the way we wanted our professional design world to look. What began as a freelance group has now become a vision of something much bigger.
We are building a community for graphic designers and creatives that focuses on mentorship and support rather than competition and elitism. We want the future designers of the world to come into a discipline without the same barriers that we have faced.
